One of the most well known cancer treatments in the United States is Chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is a set of toxic drugs that works by killing fast-growing cancer cells. Unfortunately, it also targets your white and red blood cells, which are important in fighting diseases which is the role of your immune system.  Even though chemo is well known, it does not cure cancer. “Not a cure, not even a promise, just an antidote for what is perceived as cancer,” as Suzanne Somers stated in her book – Knockout. People with cancer have a higher risk of dying after taking chemo than if they never went through any sessions.  You need to find out what exactly this treatment is and if it’s even going to work on you. Before you even think about going through chemo, ask for a chemosensitivity test. This would help you verify if the treatment is going to work or not; otherwise your health will be at a higher risk.
